20160112通霄國中輔導團入班教學與議課
       
       今天受通霄國中邀請苗栗國中英語輔導團入班教學與議課, 先前與該班任課教師討論需要我演示的部分, 透過電話與信件往返討論以本學期最後一課的課文部份來做教學演示, 並請老師幫我用學生的第二次段考成績做異質性分組, 以四人一組為主, 如有多出來的人, 一組最多五人.
        想說趁著今天記憶猶新, 趕緊把流程寫下來, 也有把上課用簡報學習單放上來, 給老師們下載參考, 也謝謝團員們的分享與參與, 在寫網誌過程中,唯一缺點就是我女兒一直來吵我, 流程沒有辦法寫太細!哈哈哈

[Textbook] 翰林英語第一冊第八課Reading: The Concert
[教學流程]
播放MayDay 唱You give love a bad name的Youtube演唱會片段
    問學生此課教學主題及影片中的人物

   
接著請學生做學習單上Task One Warm-up: Look at the picture and answer the following questions. 請看圖並回答下列題目
     

Questions:

1.      Who do you see in the picture? 

2.      What are the people? 

Task Two Before reading:

Look at the word cloud below and discuss with your group. Write down two sentences based on the words in the cloud to guess the reading. 請看下列單字雲並且跟你的組員討論根據單字雲內的單字寫下兩句英文來猜測此課文故事大意

 


請各組上台寫出各組根據此單字雲的兩句造句, 老師請同學憶起念並一起檢視句子正確性

[單字雲製作] 把課文輸入 Word It Out文字雲網站, 產生文字雲圖檔後, 放入學習單或ppt, 便完成了喔!

Task Three While-reading: Watch the video about the reading online. Then ask the group to read the reading with their group. The group leaders have to lead your group to read the reading loudly.  老師播放完希平方翰林的第一冊第八課課文動畫影片後, 請組長帶組員大聲朗讀此課課文

     

Task Four While-reading: Please work with your group and find out the answers with your group. The leaders need to read the questions first and ask your partners to find the answers out. 請與小組討論下列問題答案組長必須先把問題朗讀一次然後請組員一起找答案

Questions:

1.      What day is it?

2.      What time is it now?

3.      What is Billy doing at the concert?

4.      What are Patty, Kevin, and John doing with Billy?

Task Five After-reading: Please work with your group to put the following dialogues in order according to the timeline of the events in the reading. Write down A~D in the blanks. 請與小組討論依照課文中提到事件順序按時間先後, 把對話代碼A~D寫在下方空格

 


A.       

Billy: Come on! Everybody! Wave your hands with me!

Fans: Ok! Yeah!

Billy: Say “Let’s wave! Let’s wave!”

Fans: Let’s wave! Let’s wave!

 

B.       

Billy: Hello, everybody!

Fans: Hello, Billy!

Billy: Sing with me! Jingle bells! Jingle bells!

Fans: Jingle bells! Jingle bells!

 C.

Billy: Who am I?

Fans: Billy! Billy! Billy!

 D.

 

 (on the phone)

John: Patty, where are you?

Patty: Kevin and I are coming to meet you.

John: Ok! I am at the concert now. Wait for you.

 最後讓小組討論, 因為時間關係, 老師直接對答案, 本來還要各組把各四個對話來做個小小role-play口說練習, 很可惜沒有時間了,希望能有給孩子們和老師們一些想法
