馬拉拉課外閱讀被動式教學
Teaching Passive Voice via Reading Malala
上到九年級的被動式文法時, 我都會再上完文法的基本句型後, 希望讓學生從真實語料中看看被動式在文章中會怎麼使用, 於是我挑了馬拉拉的故事, 因為裡面會有她被塔列班槍殺然後被送到醫院, 後轉送英國治療, 還有被提名Nobel Peace Price等相關被動式用法, 於是今天的週六班課程上完了被動式用法及看了兩個關於馬拉拉的影片後,  就讓學生先將文章中的被動式畫出來, 再帶著同學閱讀並講解補充相關用語, 讓他們看看真實語料中被動式的用法, 然後兩個人一組, 挑選此故事終場景, 寫出被動式的句子, 並將當時場景畫出來, 最後請每個人寫一封信給馬拉拉, 表達感想, 這樣剛好兩堂課就結束了今天的週六班課程!

Time length: 2 hours

Teaching procedures:
1. After teaching the structure of passive voice and letting the students watching two videos about Malala, the students read the article about Malala.

2. Ask the students to underline the phrases with a passive voice.
3. The teacher leads the students to read the reading again and explain some important words or sentences.
4. The students work in pairs, choose one scene in Malala's story to write down a sentence with a passive voice to describe the scene and draw out the scene they are going to describe.
5. Each student has to write a letter to Malala to express what reflection/feelings they have after reading her story.
